Multi-Criteria Decision-Making for Investment Portfolio Selection in Thailand’s Stock Market

This research aimed to determine the relative importance of four criteria for decision-making by using each one with a popular method and evaluating outcomes these provide ranked alternatives (according criterion’s importance) making an investment decision. The were obtained from comprehensive literature review related securities investment. data analyzed past on trading under Energy Utilities category SET50 index in Stock Exchange Thailand. analysis was done through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Technique Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Opinions three experts experience giving advice collected arranged into pair-wise comparison matrices that used AHP. AHP TOPSIS calculations Microsoft Excel. results study show most important criterion financial fundamentals weight 44.59%; second rank technical factors 20.15%; third-rank risk 19.64%; last structure sustainable development 15.62%. In addition, outcome security ranking significantly similar as hypothesis statistical test two dependent samples.
